What's Wrong With Wearing the Same Outfit Twice? + OOTD

I've actually had this topic come and go from my mind for a while now, and haha yeah...finally gonna share my thoughts about it on my blog. =)

I guess we can start with how I even got myself thinking about this topic.  Well, it kinda of started around a year ago, when my friend and I were eating lunch at the cafeteria in our school.  We were very indulged into a conversation, when she suddenly stopped to look across my shoulder.  I turned around, and saw a girl that was in our class from the previous day.  My friend was very shocked, and mentioned how she thought it was gross that our classmate wore the same outfit two days in a row.  To make it more precise, my friend wasn't grossed out because our classmate wore the same outfit twice, but rather cause our classmate wore the same outfit multiple times in a row.  My response to her at that time was, "Well, maybe she really liked her outfit, and wanted to wear it again".  Up until now, I still stand up to what I said, but I can completely understand where my friend is coming from.  I guess when it comes to hygiene, some people just think it's dirty wearing the same outfit again without washing it.  haha to me, I usually don't wash my clothing right away...unless I had sweat in it, or if wore it at a dirty environment.  I mean seriously, if I wear an outfit to school, which is basically an environment filled with A.C. everywhere, I honestly don't see the point of washing for example a shirt that I had just gotten out of the cleaners the day before, right after I come back from school.  If I actually did that...then I'm sure all of my clothing would die before I know it LOL...and I wouldn't want that occurring.  If some people wash their jeans once every half a year, because instructions tell them to, and they're not grossed out with wearing their dirty jeans, then I don't understand why some people make a big deal on wearing the same outfit twice a row.  (Anyway...enough with that...)

After that incident, I've started noticing other people caring about wearing the same outfit twice.  I don't mean twice in a row, I mean twice their entire life.  Like..I would read my favorite blogger's blog, and she would mention how she would never wear the same outfit twice...and I guess I realize that statement mentioned in youtube videos, and from other people as well.  I personally don't think it's a big deal at all.  I mean, if you have an outfit that you absolutely love, what's wrong with wearing it again?  haha I don't see anything wrong with that.  There are outfits that I wear over and over again, and I feel completely fine about it.  It honestly doesn't matter what people think, cause at the end, it's only our own opinion that matters.  haha as long as I'm cleaning my clothing, and keeping myself clean, I don't see what's wrong.

lol, everyone has their own opinion, and I guess this is just a topic that had come to mind recently.  I completely understand how my friend feels, but I guess I don't see the incident the way she did.  haha Anyway, here's my outfit of the day from yesterday!! =)

The weather was on the cooler side, and I was really excited to wear my military-like jacket. =)  haha someone special gave it to me for my birthday, and I love it so much!  haha  This look actually made me feel like Kim Tae Hee in Love At Harvard.  She looks much prettier, and she's much skinnier than me, but in the movie, she had this coat that  she always wore, that reminded me of my coat, and her style was very conservative in the movie, which reminded me of my outfit as well haha.  =)

Anyway, I'm blogging before 12 a.m!!!! yay! =)
Day 1 is a Success!!!

  1. I think it's a bit unreasonable to only wear an outfit once .. ever!

What if you really like that outfit?
I agree with you! And you know.
I don't really consider it a big deal if you wear an outfit again! You're just recycling the style!

Only thing is, that you have to stay clean! Personally, if I ever sweat in my clothes, it goes in the washer!
